Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Human Method website and our coaching services. By accessing the site, booking a consultation or purchasing a coaching programme, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or services.

About Us

The Human Method is operated by Human Method Collective Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our website provides information about online coaching, movement and health performance services.

For any questions about these terms, please contact us at info@thehumanmethod.co.

Using This Website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to damage, disrupt, interfere with or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or connected networks.

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website if we believe these terms have been breached or if necessary for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

Consultations and Assessments

We offer a free initial consultation and online health and movement assessments. These are designed to help us understand your needs, discuss your goals and determine whether our coaching services are suitable for you.

Completing an assessment or attending a consultation does not guarantee acceptance onto a coaching programme. We will only recommend services we believe are appropriate and safe based on the information you provide.

Coaching Services

Our coaching services include personalised programming, lifestyle guidance, recovery support, nutrition advice and ongoing accountability. All recommendations are based on the information you provide and are intended to support your health and fitness goals.

Coaching is delivered remotely through video consultations, our coaching app, messaging and personalised programme materials. The level of support depends on the programme you select.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue coaching if we believe it is not in your best interests, if you breach these terms, or if you provide false or misleading information.

Bookings, Fees and Cancellations

Fees for coaching programmes are set out on our website or provided during your consultation. Payment is required before services begin unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you need to reschedule a consultation, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Sessions or calls missed without reasonable notice may be forfeited.

Refunds and cancellations are handled on a case-by-case basis in line with our cancellation policy, which will be shared with you when you sign up. Where a statutory cooling-off period applies, your statutory rights are not affected.

Medical Disclaimer

The Human Method does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. Our coaching services are intended to support general health, fitness and lifestyle goals and are not a substitute for professional medical care.

If you have a medical condition, are experiencing pain, are recovering from injury, or are unsure whether exercise or lifestyle changes are safe for you, you should consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any coaching programme.

We may request medical clearance or refuse to provide coaching if we believe medical input is required first. You must inform us of any relevant health conditions, injuries or changes in your health.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, videos, logos, graphics, programme materials and software, is owned by or licensed to Human Method Collective Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print pages from the website for personal use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, transmit, modify or create derivative works from any part of the website or coaching materials without our prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Human Method Collective Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special loss or damage arising from your use of the website or coaching services, except where caused by our negligence or breach of these terms.

We do not guarantee specific results from coaching. Individual outcomes depend on many factors, including consistency, adherence, starting point, health status and lifestyle.

Links to Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. These links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms or availability of those third-party sites.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to coaching services if you breach these terms, fail to make payment, behave inappropriately towards our staff or other clients, or if continued coaching is not in your best interests.

You may cancel your coaching agreement in accordance with our cancellation policy. Any fees owed at the point of cancellation remain payable.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or business practices. The updated version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Your continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
